International Collaborations

StarPeace collaborates with International Projects that their aim is promoting science without considering any boundaries and borders:

Global Astronomy Month / Astronomers Without Borders:

THIRTY NIGHTS OF STARPEACE, collaboration project between AWB and StarPeace wich occures during GAM is a global project inspired by the idea of sharing the starry-night experience among neighboring astronomy groups across national borders, one segment of the globe at a time, on successive nights during the month of April, 2010.  It’s a way of bringing to focus a spirit of fellowship, communication, and a love for the high and open sky within a specific part of the world every single night.

YurisNight:

Yuri’s Night and StarPeace collaborate on promoting astronomy and space and making changes on Earth by the wonders and beauties of space.

Yuri’s Night is a celebration of humanity’s achievements in space. Each April 12, people from around the world come together to mark the anniversary of Yuri Gagarin’s first flight into space (in 1961) and the first launch of the US Space Shuttle (in 1981).
